About Affordable Steel Carports

As the name of our company indicates, we started our company to provide customers with low cost steel carports throughout North America. Dustin Thomas, our founder and CEO launched our website shortly after graduating from Clemson University in 2011. Dustin had an internship at a steel carport manufacturing company during college and loved the industry but he always wanted to become his own boss. At Clemson he took some computer science classes and learned to build websites and also took marketing classes which would come in handy.

Dustin prides himself on being a jack of all trades, but after early success he knew he had to grow his team if he wanted Affordable Steel Carports to really take off. Today the AffordableSteelCarports.com team has 8 full time employees based out of our office in Charlotte, North Carolina.
